Desert Garden

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen this view. We don’t normally jump at the opportunity to wait in a 2 hour+ line for Radiator Springs Racers (as much as we enjoy the attraction) and, unfortunately, it’s the only way to see this desert garden.

I took this photo when racers first opened and I remember the experience quite vividly. It was hotter than a typical summer day and it felt like it took forever to get through the queue (probably because it did). The attraction broke down a few times and we ended up clocking in over 3 hours of waiting time before we boarded. On the bright side, it allowed us plenty of time to give crap to our good friend Dave DeCaro and vice versa. It also gave us ample opportunity to take lots of photos. I would almost take that over stopping in a moving line to fire off a few shutters while the person behind you gives you a look like you just kicked their dog… almost.
