Spring Blooms at Disneyland

It’s that time again. Spring is here and officially starts tomorrow. Spring could quite possibly be my favorite time of year, but then there’s Fall. It the seasons between seasons that I enjoy so much, I think. The blooms at Disneyland have already begun to show and here in San Diego, it’s impossible to go anywhere without being greeted by the sweet smell of Spring in the air. We haven’t made it to Disneyland to see these Tabebuia Trees in bloom yet, but we’ll finally get a chance to see them this weekend as we head to Disneyland to spend the day with a good friend.

This photo was taken the morning of the first 24 hour event at Disneyland. It was absurdly packed and it was nearly impossible to get from one land to the next without spooning the person in front of you and in under 30 minutes no less. The morning photos we were able to get made it worth the effort, but we didn’t have a desire to attend the subsequent 24 hour events. Now that we’ve had a good long break, we’ve decided to brave it once again this year. It is the Diamond Celebration after all and we’re hoping for the best. Anyone else brave (or tempted) enough to spend 24 hours at Disneyland?
