The holiday season always seems to come and go so quickly. Add to that working on a time lapse project and it feels like watching a looping GIF of the past six weeks crammed into three seconds.
Time gets away from you when you fill it with too many diversions. There’s a pile (or two…) of dishes stacked in the kitchen from meals Matthew and I don’t recall eating, but that’s a post for another blog filled with chilling tales of dirty dishes, unswept floors and spent paper towel rolls.
2014 has been a tremendous year.
We marked our fourth year with this blog. We had the privilege of speaking at the Disneyana Convention and making new friends with some of the most spectacular people around. Matthew got a new job and we moved to San Diego.
This has been a year overflowing with blessings and, for that, we are grateful.
Disneyland saw a number of changes. Billy Hill and the Hillbillies got a new gig at Knott’s Berry Farm. Club 33 was redone and saw the addition of a jazz club. Alice in Wonderland got a much needed facelift and upgraded effects. It’s a Small World turned fifty, which means that its 1964 World’s Fair siblings did as well.
It’s always amazing to look back on one cycle around the sun and see just how much can happen in 365 short days. Take a look back with us at some of our favorite pictures from the year and continue reading for an update on our time lapse project:

And in case you’re wondering where this mysterious time lapse is, it’s nearly here. We’re finishing up with music and transitions, after which we shall render and upload. In other words, SOON!
Happy New Year’s Eve!
