I came across this photo recently as I was going through my library. I smile every time I think of Ernie. There was something of heaven in the way he played. His music was gentle and could turn a sour mood sweet in no time. I’m grateful for every moment I got to bask in it.

I have a lot of good memories on the benches at Disneyland.
They’re so inviting. I love claiming one and people watching while listening to the Main Street audio loop. It’s an especially satisfying thing to do first thing in the morning, or with some coffee or cocoa at the end of a long day as the park closes and thousands of people turn to hundreds and hundreds to tens.

With the recent arrival of Spring, I’ve still got flowers on the brain. Another wonderful area for them at Disneyland is at the base of the Matterhorn, where blooms spring above a bed of lush green grass.
