So much has happened since I took this picture. Starbucks took over the Market House. Alice Davis and Tony Baxter got their windows on Main Street. Frozen…
There’s also something that hasn’t happened. I haven’t grown tired of Disneyland at Christmas.
Despite the corporate shenanigans, despite the crowds and despite the cold (for SoCal), it’s a magical, comforting-to-the-core experience that still mystifies me.
Every corner of Main Street is decked with garland. The smell of gingerbread fills the air. Time seems to stand still, frozen in a winter wonderland as depicted by Thomas Kinkade. All that’s left for you to do is enjoy it.
