The Court of Angels has long been a favorite spot of many Disneyland fans, myself included. As I’m sure you’ve heard, the gateway to the Court of Angels has closed to make way for a new entrance to the exclusive Club 33. In our brief tenure of having a Disney site, we’re no strangers to changes being made to the Park we love, some for the better and some perhaps not. I don’t want to complain — sentiments regarding this change have been sad enough already — so I will say that I have many wonderful memories of this area and will miss it. What I want to do instead is share my favorite memory – watching guitarist, Ernie McLean come down those steps for a blissful half hour set of jazz, something I reflect upon often.
