Whenever we think of Tomorrowland, the first things that come to mind are always Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear and, of course, Star Tours. But there is certainly a lot more to this land where every growing thing is eatable… edible… nibbleable. The Monorail Queue provides a unique view of the Nemo subs through what feels like a prehistoric forest. If you fancy some popcorn, you can have it roasted for you by the Rocketeer. The recently remodeled Star Trader store dazzles with scenes from out of this world and a prominent location for a Star Wars fighter. Yes, that’s right friends, there are lots of neat things to find in today’s Tomorrowland!
The Submarine Voyage
The Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage certainly adds a beautiful punch of color at the border of Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. The bright yellow submarines always make me think of sunshine as they pop against the many shades of blue and cyan in the lagoon. The Tomorrowland Monorail platform is a great place to see it from above for some unique perspectives.
The Staring Contest
Have you ever found yourself in a staring contest with an inanimate figure, somehow making yourself believe you can win? I love these seagulls. They totally crack me up, echoing “Mine, mine, mine!” For some reason, the silly side of me feels the need to argue with them, “No, it’s mine!” I’m not sure exactly what “it” is but I’m pretty sure these guys will take just about anything they can get. And of course I don’t win the staring contest or the argument because they’re not about to stop and I’m at Disneyland. There are rides to be ridden and pictures to be taken and memories to be made. If I spent all day entertaining people by staring and arguing with these seagulls, Disney would have to make me a cast member and put me on the payroll.
Knot a Hidden Mickey
I bet that title really roped you in. If not I don’t blame you. This is a hidden Mickey picture after all, not a Jungle Cruise joke. Don’t you love finding new hidden Mickey’s hiding around the park? I had never seen this one and was so excited I decided to share it with all of you!
