With so many details in Disneyland, this is definitely one worth taking notice of. This iron monogram adorns the balcony of Walt Disney’s would-have-been apartment in New Orleans Square alongside a similar one for his brother, Roy Disney. Though Walt didn’t live to see it, his dream of the apartment overlooking the Rivers of America was realized in the Dream Suite. I have not had the opportunity to see it in person (it’s on my list, ha!), but there is a concept sketch / photo comparison in the Opera House on Main Street which paints the vivid picture of elegance and beauty. Oh to have a seat on that balcony, take a cue from Walt and dream.
