The glow on Oswald’s was amazing as we entered DCA during our last visit and it was one of those times when there wasn’t really time to stop and do much about it. I took this shot as we hustled further into Buena Vista Street. Hurried moments aren’t usually my preference but in this case it was a sweet fleeting moment to enjoy the ambiance and a welcome challenge to try and capture it quickly. What was so pressing? Coffee…
Snow may not be the first thing you think of when you hear the words “Route 66”. Its coming is as uncertain as the promise of a traveler passing through town. But what good does it do to let uncertainty weigh us down? There are so many things we don’t have control of in life. What we do have control of is our outlook on things. Focus on all that you have to be grateful for because gratefulness is always in season and it has the power to overcome whatever this life may throw our way.
Where are you? You’re in the merriest little town in Carburetor Country. Cars Land has been decorated for Christmas and it’s truly something to behold. The cozy charm of Radiator Springs is magnified by the cheer and merriment of Christmas decor, automotive style. We didn’t get to spend nearly enough time there on our visit this weekend.
On a day that seemed to be dull and dreary at DCA, we found ourselves wandering to Paradise… Pier that is. As we did, the clouds began to break and the sun shone through for quite a dramatic scene. Even Mickey seemed happy about it.
It’s amazing to think of all the wonders that the Walt Disney Studios has provided over the years and it’s difficult to imagine what a world without them would look like. I love this homage to the Studios in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure. It’s one of those things I can’t pass by without taking a moment to look.
The way that the Grizzly River Rapids fill up with mist at night is incredible. Instantly you are transported to some remote mountain location where hot springs abound. The best part about it is the mystery. Shapes and figures can become whatever your imagination allows.
